We have had several wonderful experiences with Peartree! Richard helped us with both purchases. He was knowledgeable and helped us create a more efficient and space saving configuration for our office. He was extremely patient with us when he came out to the office as we hadn't decided on exactly what we needed. He helped us design a wonderful office configuration & assisted with picking the correct pieces. The prices were also much lower than some of their competitors. I found Peartree Office Furniture on-line as I was searching for a home office chair. I previously had purchased a desk chair at a big box office store and my back was really sore. Peartree had a great selection of high end chairs and I was able to find a used high-end Steelcase chair in very good condition for $299 (Retail new at $900). They cleaned and tested the chair before I picked it up the next day. Excellent service! The showroom is a little hard to find in their upstairs location, but definitely worth the walk. Their selection of office furniture is all laid out in a sunny, pleasant showroom.

Our business has grown and we needed to move our offices after 20 years in the same higher end wood furniture from Kimball. My wife was a contract furniture factory sales representative for Kimball International some years ago, and we understandably fitted up our offices with all Kimball wood furniture. We appreciate the quality and durability of good office furniture and in the long haul, it's well worth the extra costs of getting higher quality; however, being frugal as I am I wanted to buy previously enjoyed office (used) furniture as opposed to all new. So moving meant it was time to freshen up the furniture and get all new furniture (at least new to us). Having looked around a little at other used office furniture outfits, Peartree immediately stood out as knowing their products, the market, and what is good and what is junk. When we walked into Peartree's sprawling Framingham showroom, their commitment to this business was evident. It was almost like exploring a city for the first time with a seemingly endless supply of quality used office furniture. We wanted wood, but they had a wide selection of faux wood/laminate furniture in both used and new. What sets them apart from others is the vast expanse of selection and ability to quickly put the buyer's eyes on what's available. While they might only have one of [fill in the blank] on the showroom floor, they have a seemingly endless stream of the exact same stashed in a massive warehouse below, and behind them in the mill complex where they are located. Selection is just one aspect of a good experience. Knowledge is the another; Dennis Farr was our sales person and Dennis was a virtual encyclopedia of knowledge and was very practical suggesting alternatives where appropriate. For our break room, he suggested a melamine laminate table and chrome and plastic seat chairs; "they'll be easy to clean and no worries if someone drops a cup of coffee on these" in place of the fabric chairs I had been eying. File cabinets and other office furniture components also quickly fell into place and we wasted no time in quickly finding exactly what we wanted with Dennis' help and knowledge. So Dennis Farr took our scale drawings of the offices and laid it all out for us. He did all the layout work! We purchased 7 offices off furniture, 2 customer service stations, a reception area with leather couch and matching chairs, and a new cherry conference room table with used leather chairs to really complete the professional look that we wanted in our new glass wall conference room. Again Dennis was key in helping us not waste time and understood our needs and budget to quickly help us complete our selection. We purchased Bernhardt desks and stations. Beautiful quilted oak surface and matching chairs, and files. It would be on a par with higher end Han, Steelcase, Artec, Kimball, or any other higher end wood manufacturer, however at a fraction the cost of new. You can't tell its all not new and the first visitors we've had have all commented on how nicely the office is done. The job is not complete until the furniture is installed and delivered and this is where Peartree will just blow you away. Their installation team of Jose, Fernando, John, and Zack showed up on day one and started bringing in what seemed like an endless pile of furniture, all broken down and blanket wrapped for safe transport, and began to set the offices up just as Dennis had laid them out. We watched with excitement our expectations were continually exceeded. The installation team are total pros and this is where Peartree really has their strongest position - which is hard to believe. The installers were TOTALLY accommodating for our staff and took pieces away that were not fitting right or needed some minor work, and showed up over the next day or two with exactly what was needed. All the time with cheery smiles and quick acceptance of any monkey wrenches we threw at them. I just can't say enough good things about Peartree Office Furniture and their whole company from start to finish. If you need office furniture, don't waste your time anywhere else. We are totally sold. Finally, a little story the installers shared with us when we asked them "what's the farthest you've gone to deliver a job" and without hesitation they said "South Carolina". We were stunned. over 1000 miles away into the very heart of furniture manufacturing and they went there for a client from here. Now I know why and if we move our offices to any location, you can bet that Peartree will be the first call I make. Simply the best.

I needed a desk chair for my home office, and found Peartree online. I spent 30 minutes there yesterday, "tried on" about six different chairs, and left with the perfect one. The sales guy (cannot remember his name) was very friendly and helpful; I needed an ergonomic chair to support my lower back and he steered me to about 6 chairs across a variety of price points. He was also really patient because my 9 year old daughter was running around and trying out all the chairs as well. I paid about 40% of what the chair would be worth new ($264 on $750). They had Aeron, Steelcase, and a bunch of other brands. The stock ranges from completely new to clearly used, but most of the stock is in excellent condition. I can tell my chair was used before because of some wear on the wheels, but that's it. Otherwise it is in pristine condition. They also had really great reception furniture for a variety of styles. Everything from formal leather club chairs to a funky banquet in a zebra print. I would absolutely go back if I needed something else.

If you are in need of office furniture (new and or pre-owned) this is the company you want to do business with! All the staff at the home office/show-room in Framingham, MA where very helpful and well informed regarding all modles offered by POF. I had the pleasure of working with Marc (owner/manager), what a great guy! He shared all of the options available - his goal was to help me find the right fiurniture not the most expensive items. After I chose the desk, return and two draw lateral that fit my needs and budget, the delievery was scheduled for the next bussiness day. The two men that came to my house arrived on time with all the equipment necessary to do the job quickly and correctly start to finish. Once the parts where assembled, they cleaned up everything to the point where but for the new desk etc, you could never tell that they had been in the house. Everything looked great - just as impressive as what I saw in the show room. All the paperwork I requested was provided to my complete satisfaction. To say I was impressed with the whole company and staff would be an understatement! If you need office furniture and you don't check these guys out, sorry but shame on you b/c it will be your loss - really!
