I found Peartree Office Furniture on-line as I was searching for a home office chair. I previously had purchased a desk chair at a big box office store and my back was really sore. Peartree had a great selection of high end chairs and I was able to find a used high-end Steelcase chair in very good condition for $299 (Retail new at $900). They cleaned and tested the chair before I picked it up the next day. Excellent service! The showroom is a little hard to find in their upstairs location, but definitely worth the walk. Their selection of office furniture is all laid out in a sunny, pleasant showroom.

I am an interior designer, and have worked with Peartree on several commercial projects. They were very professional and helpful, and all of my clients have been very pleased with their work. They always arrive when scheduled, and do an excellent job in setting up the offices. I have bought everything from cubicles and conference tables to reception area furniture. I needed a desk chair for my home office, and found Peartree online. I spent 30 minutes there yesterday, "tried on" about six different chairs, and left with the perfect one. The sales guy (cannot remember his name) was very friendly and helpful; I needed an ergonomic chair to support my lower back and he steered me to about 6 chairs across a variety of price points. He was also really patient because my 9 year old daughter was running around and trying out all the chairs as well. I paid about 40% of what the chair would be worth new ($264 on $750). They had Aeron, Steelcase, and a bunch of other brands. The stock ranges from completely new to clearly used, but most of the stock is in excellent condition. I can tell my chair was used before because of some wear on the wheels, but that's it. Otherwise it is in pristine condition. They also had really great reception furniture for a variety of styles. Everything from formal leather club chairs to a funky banquet in a zebra print. I would absolutely go back if I needed something else.

After searching Craigslist for a used office chair, I took a chance today and headed to Peartree Office Furniture in Framingham, MA. Located at the top of a warehouse (don't be scared off by the location!), the showroom is packed with high-end used office furniture. I walked around a bit overwhelmed at the high quality of the furniture (priced well for what it was, but I knew I couldn't afford most of it--I'm outfitting a small therapy office just for myself), but it wasn't until I was led to the back room that I knew I had reached office chair heaven! Peartree is currently selling a massive number of chairs at unheard of prices--I picked out an elegant used Knoll chair that was selling for $20!!! Christine was incredibly helpful as I moved through the chairs trying to find one that suited me. I honestly left wishing I could have spent more money with them. It was because of their service (and selection) that I'm writing my first Yelp review. I hope others will discover them and choose to buy "recycled" rather than new office furniture! It is well worth the visit!
